Waiata-a-ringa, Poi, Rakau
Kei te mahi waiata-a-ringa, poi, rakau, i te marae. Engari ko te mea nui, Ko te WHAKAWHANAUNGATANGA.
He rawe ta matou haerenga.
We enjoyed action songs, stick games and poi drills. The best thing about out trip to the marae was the CONNECTEDNESS (Close relationships/friendliness/respect/honor) that we gave to each other that evening and day. We had to work together to prepare the food, the bedding and to care for one another as friends (classmates). It was pretty scary for some of us, there were 13 Space 7 children who stayed the night, and only 5 of our parents stayed. So, some of us had to show a lot of Kia Kaha (to be brave) that night to stay a night away from our own families.
